Visited here while travelling. Clean gym. Lots of equipment for strength training, and in good condition. Barbell had good knurling for grip. Overall a great place to workout. Would visit again.
I have held a membership here since 2018. The establisent was clean and sanitary even before the pandemic hit, and have somehow managed to increase their standards further sinve. The staff is friendly, and the gym is not overly packed when I go to use it (Early Morning/Late Night). Currently speaking they are respecting social distancing protocols quite well, and some machines have been made off limits to uphold this. Convenient location for me, and a lot of other people on this side of Vernon. I just wish they were open later some days!
If you are new and starting out at a gym I would not recommend going here. The staff acted completely unprofessional laughing and making fun of their customers. It is hard enough trying to feel confident going to a gym and working out in front of people. Having the personal trainer & other employees laugh was enough for me to never go there. Hopefully management does something about this situation as it has been brought to his attention.
I have been a member to almost all gyms in the Vernon area, this gym stands out because the staff are friendly and inviting. Other members are also very friendly and I have met many now friends or workout partners through coming here. The equipment is well maintained and when it does start to get worn they make sure to replace or restore it. It is by far the best priced gym in the area with just about everything anyone beginner to pro could ask for. Their Covid procedures are fantastic and the cleanliness is top notch. I would recommend this gym to anyone.
Felt harassed by management, interrupting my work day, taking up my time when the decision to cancel was already made, totally invaded my personal privacy. Poor quality equipment and never available to use, roof leaks, they don’t take pride in ownership clearly and during a pandemic when small business is suffering I would have thought they’d have put in a little more effort, this place feels dirty and a tad trashy. Thank god we found a new gym who gave us a good deal to help supplement the cost of our cancellation because they’ve heard the rumours as well and I will take a bit of responsibility as I should have also listened when my friends and co workers had said it wasn’t a good place to get involved with. Do better!
